Book the Readiness Call
Our Approach

Three stages.
From where you are
to the exit you worked for —
and the returns it justifies.

We do not start with technology. We start with your business — where the value lives, where it is leaking, and what needs to happen before a buyer arrives.

Most exit strategies fail
not because the business
isn't good enough.

They fail because the value that exists inside the business was never made visible to the person writing the cheque.

Vantage works in three stages. Each one has a specific outcome. Each one moves you closer to the number you deserve.

We do not charge for time. We price against the valuation gap we create. Our fee represents approximately 3% of the additional exit value delivered. On an £8 million gap, that context speaks for itself.

01 Stage One
The Diagnostic

We find out exactly where your value lives — and where it is leaking.

In 48 hours we conduct a forensic review of your business across the six areas where exit value is most commonly lost.

01Production
02Distributors & Wholesalers
03Sales & Customer Relations
04Pricing & Commercial
05Supply Chain
06Finance & Accounts

We are looking for one thing: the gap between the value your business contains and the value a buyer can actually see and verify.

At the end of Stage One you receive a plain English report. It shows your current position, your likely exit multiple range, and the specific gaps that are reducing your number.

Most clients tell us it is the first time anyone has told them the truth about what their business is worth — and why.

Outcome

Your Vantage Exit Readiness Report. Delivered within 48 hours. No jargon. No ambiguity. One number and a clear explanation of what is driving it.

02 Stage Two
The Blueprint

We design the plan to protect and maximise your exit value.

Once we know where the gaps are, we design the solution. This is not a technology project. It is a value protection project — and the plan reflects that.

We map exactly what needs to be documented, systematised and made transferable across your six key business areas. We identify which knowledge currently lives in people's heads and design the process for moving it into the business permanently.

Every decision in the Blueprint is driven by one question: will a buyer pay more for this business because of what we are about to do? If the answer is yes, it goes in. If the answer is no, it doesn't.

Outcome

The Vantage Sovereign Blueprint. A clear, costed plan showing exactly what needs to happen, in what order, and what the impact on your exit multiple will be.

03 Stage Three
The Build

We build the Digital Business Brain that makes your exit value permanent.

This is where the knowledge becomes infrastructure that you own.

Everything extracted in the Blueprint — your pricing logic, your supplier relationships, your operational tolerances, the decisions only you and your key people understand — is built into a private system that lives on your premises. Not in a cloud. Not on a subscription. On hardware in your building, owned by your business, accessible only to you.

We call this process vectorisation — moving your company's intelligence out of people's heads and into a private, on-premise system that belongs to your business entirely. Pricing logic that took thirty years to develop. Supplier relationships that exist nowhere in writing. The tolerance decisions only you understand. All of it captured, searchable and transferable — without ever leaving your four walls.

This is the stage that changes what a buyer sees. Not a business that depends on its owner. A business with documented, transferable, provable systems — and a private intelligence layer that answers due diligence questions before they become price chips.

The infrastructure cost is included within The Build. There is no separate technology bill, no ongoing licence, and nothing that a buyer inherits as a liability. It is a capital asset — built once, owned permanently, and valued accordingly.

The business that comes out of Stage Three is not the same business that went in. It is leaner, more transferable and more valuable. Not because it changed what it does — but because it can now prove what it has always done.

Outcome

A live Digital Business Brain. Documented, transferable systems across all six key areas. A business that runs without you — and is worth significantly more because of it.

How long does this take?

Designed to complete
within your exit window.

The Diagnostic
48 hours on site · Report within the week

Forensic review across your six key business areas. Plain English report delivered within 48 hours of completion.

£2,500 – £5,000
Stage Two
The Blueprint
Two to four weeks

Depends on business complexity and the number of knowledge areas being mapped. More complex businesses take longer to plan correctly.

£10,000 – £20,000
Stage Three
The Build
6 to 18 months

Depends on the number of knowledge areas being systematised. The full journey from Captive to Surfer is designed to complete within 18 to 36 months.

£35,000 – £150,000+

Not every client needs all three stages. Some arrive at Captain and need only the Build. Some need the Diagnostic to confirm what they already suspect. The Exit Readiness Call tells us where to start.

Indicative only: The valuations, multiples and exit gap figures shown are illustrative estimates based on typical sector benchmarks. They are not formal valuations, financial advice or a guarantee of achievable sale price. Actual exit values will vary depending on market conditions, sector performance, buyer appetite and individual business circumstances at the time of sale. A formal business valuation should be obtained from a qualified professional before any exit decision is made.
